Mites belong to the Arachnid group, and so do ticks. There are many kinds of mites. Such as the Dust Mite, Bed Mite, House Mite, Itch Mite, Spider Mite, Clover Mite, Bird Mite, Harvest Mite and many more. Mites look a bit like spiders. Mites have eight legs. But when the spider mite is a larvae then it only has six. Most mites do bite humans but the Clover Mite doesn't. The mite is closely related to Ticks.
