One thing that is great to try is white toothpaste. It must be an actual paste though and not one of the gels or flavoured types. It may require more than one treatment but soaking the spot should help it fade. Try mixing the toothpaste with some baking soda for additional lift. Soak, rinse and repeat if necessary.
