You can find nearly anything you'd like made from recycled products... First thing that came to mind is to cut a recycled plastic bottle place/pack the egg in recycled toilet paper or use recycled pencil shavings (you'll need a lot) you'll need to secure any opening using recycled cardboard or paper... Add materials like recycled; straws, string, tie balloons... (check out your states "Keep America (or state name) Beautiful" for recycled balloons. With the egg securely /tightly packed and "spings (bent straws on at least three sides) the attached balloons will make any drop slower and ease your egg capsule's landing. Hope this helps.
