Which Wire Goes Where In A Pull Cord (bathroom) Light Fitting. I Have A 2-way Replacement Fitting (which I Understand Can Still Be Used Even Though Only A 1-way Is Needed). There Are 3 Wires - Red, Black & Yellow/green And ... COM, L1 And L2. Thanks?

Firstly, you just need to use the COM and L1 terminals for connection. Then, you need to identify your wires. The Red is the Live wire and there should be two of these, one Live In from your supply and one Live Switched Out to the light. Wire the Red 'Live In' to the 'COM' terminal and the Red 'Live Switched Out' to the 'L1' terminal. You should also have two Black wires, these are the Neutrals and simply need to be terminated together in the Neutral terminal block inside the switch base. The same then again for the Yellow/Green, these are the Earths and simply need to be terminated together in the Earth terminal block inside the switch base. If there are no terminal blocks in the base, these wires can also be joined above the base in the ceiling That should work perfectly.
