Steam cleaning has the advantage that, done properly, it will sterilise the carpet and kill all the nasty bugs that accumulate. It has the disadvantage that it can damage very cheap and very expensive carpets. The carpet may also take some time to dry properly.

Dry cleaning covers a multitude of possibilities. Most of which are less effective that steam cleaning or actual careful washing. Solvent cleaners are usually toxic (or unpleasant in other ways).

There are many ways to clean a carpet. We can also use vacuum cleaner to clean carpet but these two  methods are also commonly used :

As both the methods are very effective to clean the carpet i.e. Steam cleaning of carpet includes usage of water and it cleans the carpet from deep inside. But the dry steaming of carpet includes usage of chemicals and less water as compared to steam cleaning. The main disadvantage of dry cleaning is it will break your carpet very soon. But cleaning with steam make your carpet usage durable.

Dry cleaning and using a steam cleaner are both popular methods for cleaning carpets, but does one have an advantage over the other?

You must get in touch with a reliable dry-cleaning company that uses top quality dry cleaning supplies Sydney.

Steam cleaning your carpet yourself means you need only hot water, a rented machine, and detergent. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait between 12 and 24 hours to walk on your carpet again.

Ground-in stains typically reappear in the first few days after steam cleaning. Commercial solutions can eliminate some of these problems, but there are certain stains — pet stains or chemical stains, for example — that require multiple treatments or cannot be removed.

Dry cleaning, meanwhile, offers the advantage of almost no drying time and an effective cleaning through chemical agents and application solution

The chemicals used in dry cleaning can often be harsh, and homeowners are advised to speak with a commercial cleaning company about the products they use and any strong odors they may have.

Well, if you own a high-quality carpet, you have to be careful while cleaning it (of course, if you decided to do it by yourself). Both of those methods can destroy natural colors and make the carpet shed. Moreover, it can damage its texture of natural materials such as wool. That is why I always trust my favorite contemporary rugs to be cleaned at the DorisLeslieBlau gallery. I appreciate their service and prices, of course. By the way, one of my rugs I bought there as well. And the quality is great, though I try to be extremely accurate with it.
