For me I would want it to look brighter so get light drapes pull them back and see how sunny your room looks also to make your room look unqiue try hanging beads on your ceiling above your bed. Another way to make your room look unqiue is if you have a bare wall try printing( or developing those old photos) photos ( black and white) on the wall and see what your friends think
You could add photo's of you and your friends:) and add a mirror and draw your walls but if your artiee:D it works ffor me but use nice clothes like people said^^
I would add a cool web page, let me know your color scheme and then we'll go from there. Maybe you could add a cool desk and a fuzzy rug to make it look cozy. Paint your fan to match your new room! For easy storage space add a book shelf and maybe shelves on the wall. Well, I'm only a Ten yr old kid and when I was 9 I was having my old pig-style room into a rlly cool high-tec room all I did was get a desk, a comfy chair and a laptop ANNNDDD a bunkbed and that rlly cool bunkbed was rlly relaxing so bottom bunk I turned into rlly relaxing and top bunk was my bed then I put a TV up and some shelves and some draws and a closet AANNNDDD a locker to put stuff in.
Top Tips:
1.Iff your a kid you normally like rlly dark colours so you couldnt be so relaxed to make each wall different colours some light some dark.
2. I had something rlly cool done what me my mum and ma dad did was put rlly relaxing saying my name on the wall which is rlly cool.
3.Be very creative put rlly relaxing your bed.
4.iff you don't have a sofa in your room geta bean bag chair and/or buy a bunkbed Sleep on top bunk and turn bottom bunk into a sofa.
