I Have A Richdel Lawn Sprinkler Control That Operates 6 Zones. When In Automatic Mode Now, And The Timer Turns On The First Zone, It Remains There, And Never Moves On To The Next Zone. What Is Causing This? I Can Move The Zones Manually, But I Need That Automatic Operation As I'm Out Of Town A Lot.

The rapid advance motor is bad. Rather than have a irrigation repair guy replace it, consider replacing the entire unit. Richdel (Irritrol) mechanical timers are antiquated technology. Here in Florida they are not allowed in some counties due to their lack of station run time precision. Any inexpensive digital controller is better than what you have. To learn how to easily replace it yourself
