A star-chain-knot pattern is basically a type of business communication. It is basically used as a persuasive mechanism used in advertising all around the world. The pattern is such that the ad opens with an attention-getter (called a star), is followed by a body with logical and emotional links (called a chain) and closes with an action (called a knot).
