At least once a year....but I'd do it twice, depending on how dirty your family is! Lol! Once in the fall just before winter, then again in the spring!
When do you suggest should I clean my carpets and upholstery? Should it be included in a full house cleanup. At what intervals should I get them cleaned?
Much obliged for your answer Addicted Tomyman, and I think I agree with you. Its best to do a carpet and cushion cleaning, especially since I have found in carpet cleaning bondi that the germs in carpets can be deadly specially for kids. Appreciate your help again.

That would depend on your specific need .. Generally speaking, an annual cleaning is typical .. But .. Some will do it more often, some not at all. Some prefer to have them professionally done .. and some will DIY .. that is also up to you.
Once a year is usually enough. They should be done when you really aren't going to be around after to walk on them. Walking on them even damp wicks the dirt from the pad up & just makes them dirty again. Kids & pets shouldn't be on them anyway. Vaccuum twice before you just let everyone loose on them. Spot clean as needed then use a fan & mark off the area while it dries.
