If you have a lot of time and have a strong back, yes it's cheaper to make them yourself but it's a major, messy pain in the butt.
Is it cheaper to make your own cement garden sidewalk slabs or to buy them pre-made?
If you have the tools, it's cheaper to make them. If you do not have the tools, you will make out better, buying the slabs.
