It would probably be cheaper to call for a concrete business to deliver however many yards of concrete you need in a concrete truck, if they're willing to deliver a small load.

I've done a lot of concrete work and I can't imagine mixing that many bags of concrete. Way too much work, even with a mixer.

I had a small rural house built for myself a few years ago. It isn't very large, about 60" x 35", but I had the form designed by an engineer, then had the concrete delivered by the local Ready-Mix. One tip I would give anyone having a load delivered is not to allow them to dump any small amount of leftover concrete on your property if you can help it.

Right. No matter where they dump it, you'll find it years later when you go to plant a tree or something.

If you are talking about a 10x14 foot x4 inch slab, you'll need approx:

156- 40lb bags
125- 50lb bags
104- 60lb bags
    or
79- 80lb bags
