Where do you escape to when things get a bit rough?

to my reading corner with headphones, soft music and a whole other world of adventure waiting for me

To my bedroom with a good book, shut off my phone and turn the do not disturb on...on my kindle, and just read.

I know this perfect spot not terribly far from where I live that I can perch on a rock and see a beautiful rolling landscape. I've used it many times and it works every time! Very calming.

Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name . . .

If the weather is warm or hot? I'm in that swimming pool ! Peace and quiet. If the weather is cool? I'll usually just lay down and bury myself in a good book. Those are my best two escapes !

Sit by the still and talk to earnest and make hooch

My back porch. I sit out there, watch the birds and read.

I curl up in my bed and listen to old-time radio programs on tape and cd.

I put my cameras, flask, waterproofs and a few other bits into a rucksack and set off for Maulden Wood. (But actually I don't really ever get that stressed about things.)

My bedroom, with my feet propped up, a good book in my hand, and my dog laying next to me.
