Didn't see the doorbell.
Was afraid the doorbell wouldn't work.
To keep it short and get as many various answers possible, I wont share the whole story. But my question is- why would a person KNOCK a strangers door that has an obvious doorbell. Thanks?
What you can control - Making noise by interacting with two surfaces.
What you cannot control - Interacting with an electrical device that relies on several components to create an audible sound. (Switch that completes current, Electrical Current, the mechanism that will create the audible sound).
Using the doorbell, there are least three parts that we have no control over . . .
Joe Kenda prefers to scare the sh*t out of you by banging on the door with a heavy aluminum flashlight so you are totally 'off balance' when you open the door.
(Aside from that, it's kinda fun.)
