I Have A Front Load GE Wpxh214. After Replacing The Broken Shock Absorber The Spin Cycle Will Not Start. The Belt Is On And Tight, Any Thoughts?

I think you should bite the bullet and ditch the machine. It is a piece of junk and GE's parts prices are "rape and pillage" (as you probably already know if you changed the shock).

I had a faulty drum spring crap out last week which apparently took one of the shock absorbers with it. $86 for a 10 minute visit from the repair man telling me it will cost more to fix than to replace. And even if I decide to fix, he told me the circuit control board on his last house is $500!
