Detached - standing alone in its own ground
Semi-detached - joined on one side only
End of terrace - End of a row of joined houses having its own access at side.
Terrace - Houses attached either side
Bungalow - Single storey building
Town house three storeys joined to others.
Flat - More than two homes on different levels sharing the same main entrance
