Why Don't My Pepper Plants Produce Peppers?

It could be you planted them to far apart.Peppers need to be planted close to each other. Really close.I plant mine about 4-5 inches apart, in 3's then a picking lane then more peppers (we have 750+ peppers this year)Peppers are a touchy feely plant.They have to be very near each other to produce "fruit"I planted my 1st garden years ago and gave them lots of room to grow, wrong! My greenhouse guy said to plant em' close.I listened, I get lots of peppers every year.

Possible too much water. Many plants require a dry period to set the fruit.
