Yes !!! Pretty make sure the wood is light but the dark grains in the wood is ok and if you are painting the room two shades place the bed up against the more richer color and that will look you. I'm painting my bedroom blue as I speak with one wall being a lil darker blue with a dove white oil base for the trim and doors which will make the brush on smoother and hold much longer.
