There are many parts to the ice maker ,I would try this first make sure the lever is pushed down ...take the plastic cover off the front, you will see gears take a small common screw driver or nut driver and turn the gear manually it should start the defrost cycle, the gears will start moving ...heater melts ice ...spoons turn to eject ice... Water refills... Make sure all parts are moving ...if heat element is bad or timer ..turn off the water to the fridge unplug , ..take two screws loose at bottom of maker ,pull electrical plug out of freezer wall, take to a appliance repair shop ..makers are Tedious, and require special care when repairing ...good luck
