You can use a discarded (recycle) ceiling fan turned sideways (or a large floor fan) to catch the breeze. Depending on your ability, time or budget, you can hook up the shaft using gears or simple belt pulley to turn a small generator (like ones you mount on bicycles) to generate electricity to light a lamp, or charge up a rechargeable battery.
