You could steam potatoes, but it would take FOREVER unless you cut the potatos up, say, in one or two inch thick slices...but I have no idea how long it'd take...you could make a 'project' out of it by steaming the amount of potatos you'd normally prepare...You'd want to cut them in, say, 1 or 2 inch slices, lay them out flat, no stacking, and then I would set a timer for 5 mins., and every 5 minutes try to put a fork thru the slices.....when they are ready, you will then know how long to steam that particular amount of potatos!!!!!
