I Have A White, Black, Green Wires.Which Is My Ground And Which Is The Hot Wire?

Green is ground, black is hot, and white is neutral.  Neutral is typically tied together at the main service box and the box is also grounded, but there can be a potential between neutral and ground by the time it gets to the load, so treat the white as if it is hot too.
 
Black goes to the brass terminal.  White goes to the silver terminal, or the ribbed side of the cord.

In electrical work, the black is hot and the white is your neutral but in electronics such as TVs, radios, etc, the white is hot and black is neutral so know what youre dealing with first

The green wire is the ground wire, the black wire is the hot wire, and the white is the neutral
