In the United States, Wachsmuth & Krogmann’s offices are in Bensenville, Illinois. The company also has offices in Hong Kong and a headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. Wachsmuth & Krogmann was originally established in Hamburg in 1797. They started out as a traditional trading company dealing with spices and other popular commodities of that century.

After World War Two, The management decided to refocus on its core activities, which were trading in dried fruits, nuts and canned food.

In 1968 the product line was expanded to frozen foods. In 1980 the non-food department, which included kitchen and home appliances and hardware, was established with a strong focus on operations in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. The American entity of the company ‘Wachsmuth & Krogmann Inc’ was established in 2000.

WACHSMUTH & KROGMANN is a German trade company that (among other things) delivers the whole service around non-food products to retailers like ALDI. So they organize the purchase, labeling (CROFTON in the case of ALDI) import and costumer service for such products. But they do not neither produce, nor develop or design these products. That is done somewhere in southeast  Asia (China, Taiwan), therefore it needs more research and insider knowledge to tell, who actually produced this vacuum and under which other brandname it is marketed, too.
