I am not a mechanic. I am a person who has problems with gas engines of all sorts. Including lawn mowers. Watching the video it sounds like there is something wrong with the fuel reaching the "carb".  Your choke could be out of sync or the fuel line could be clogged or as in my gas I was using old gas. Good luck my friend.

I just had a similar problem with a gas powered auger and it took me a while to figure it out. The darn thing would just not keep running, same as yours. Mine has a vented gas cap that was clogged. I found that out when I mistakenly tried to start it with the gas cap off. It started right up and kept running. I cleaned the vent hole in the cap and used the auger for the rest of the day with no problems. Check yours out.

Yeah thats actually what I tried including changing sparkplug, air filter, and I even replaced the whole pull start system. Thus why Im kinda disappointed in this lawn mower.

Worked on mowers many times over the years and they're pretty basic. After watching that video, it sure looks like a fuel problem to me. Clean out the old gas and put fresh in and blow out your fuel lines. Usually you can just spray some carb cleaner in it rather than taking it all apart. Hippy had a good idea also. I run a battery operated mower just because gas mowers can be a pain. I'd say it's not getting a constant flow of gas.
