Yes. A year ago my husband and I bought a nice airy house in the woods. The only way I am moving out is either in a body bag or on a gurney to a nursing home because I can no longer take care of myself. (And hopefully that is a few decades away.)
If I'm not I gotta be a slow learner. We bought the place in 1963 and we're still happy living here.
That big cypress in the front yard took 12 years to grow six feet, then it got it's toes down through the sandstone layer to the water underneath, and Whoosh! Like Topsy, it just growed.
