What Colors Make Red?

Unfortunately, you will find that there are no colors which make up the color red. Red is a primary color and cannot be made out of paint if you are painting, you are simply going to have to have red already in your collection. If you are using pens you can make the color, so it all depends on what materials you are using and what you are trying to achieve. Just like prime numbers, you cannot make red from anything but itself, so if you do not have the red paint next to you right now you can be sure that you are not going to be able to make it from all of the other colors that you have!

Primary colors get their name because they are used to create other colors and cannot be created themselves. You will have no choice but to go to your local store and find the red that you are looking for. If you did not know that you could not make blue and yellow also, now you do! If you are a painter or an artist it is likely that you did not already know this, hang your head in shame!

Also, without the color red you will find that you will not be able to make many other colors such as pink and purple. Red works alongside the other primary colors and the other combinations that can be made to give you the wide variety of colors that we have today. Make sure that you stock up on all of the different primary colors (and a bit of white won’t do any harm!) when you are painting and you will never find that you cannot have the colors that you are looking for and that are going to meet your requirements.

I think orange and yellow

Orange and yellow make red I know that for sure

WeLL..I tried orange and deep pink and it worked..

In paints,  you can make red by mixing orange and magenta.

What? You can't make red from other colors because like Mondieu said it is a primary color, but um you can try cherry kool aid powder, strawberries, or blood to "make red".

Nothing can make red. It's a primary color. It just happens.

No colour makes Red.  It is already a Primary colour .

Red is a primary color, which means it can't be mixed together.
Red and yellow make orange.
Blue and Yellow make green.
Blue and Red make violet (purple)

Blue, Red and Yellow are the primary colors.
