I Have A Whirlpool Duet Washer And It Says Control Locked, How To Use It?

I love love love the internet as I have a Whirlpool Duet Model# GHW9100LQ2. When I have any errors or problems with it, I google it and things happen. The control locked light came on and holding the 'signal volume' button for a few seconds totally worked...I was SO happy 'cause I thought I was going to be doomed without a washer...
As for not spinning, is there clothes in the washer. If so then try just the drain setting and then do your cycle all over again. I'm not a pro however I try little things with this.

There should be a button or something that says about "signal volume". Try holding it down for 3 or up to 10 seconds. It should unlock then.

Holding down the signal control button for 3-10 seconds should do it, worked for me and my husband is amazed...I "repaired" the washer!
