How Do You Prune A Naval Orange Tree?

Prune only the lower branches of your orange tree because they can become what we refer to as sour sprouts, which takes the sweetness out of the fruit and turns them sour.
Sprouts along the lower trunk need to be cut off whenever they appear.
We live in Florida also.
