Good exercise;  you get to build stuff; see the materials before the job starts and the finished project once completed.  Then you can take pride in the job you have done.

You get to build something from scratch. When it is done you can stand back with friends and family and say I built that. Depending on what stage of the job you are at, weather will determine weather you work or not that day. If you are not working you do not get paid.

Get a nice government job. If you can not work because of the weather you still get paid. You also get health insurance and paid vacations.
