Dear, you forgot cement. That is what we have. Gotcha! ♥
I have a dirt driveway and I hate it completely. When it rains there's mud everywhere. When it is dry and windy then you get the dust in your house.
Blacktop driveways are much better than dirt or gravel drives. They
will require some routine maintenance such as sealing every couple
of years and crack patching especially in freezing climates.

I don't know, i think it's tar but it will smell well parable tar.
Definitely tar. Much neater & presentable.
Definitely a paved driveway. Dirt driveways, throw up too much dust and it is a pain in the booty to keep your car clean.
It's a hard one. Dirt has a lot of dust and tar has that smell but helps keep the dust down.. I would have to say the dirt because even with tar there is still some dust.
These days a paved driveway is what most of us prefer for dirt driveways need maintenance on a consistent basis. That is why we use paved roads in lieu of dirt.
Paved is the only way to go. I live on a unpaved county road where the dust in the summertime is beyond annoying.
We have a gravel driveway; however, I would prefer to have a paved driveway. Peace
Cement is the best by far.
