Valves fitted at the outlet of water tanks  have traditionally been gatevalves  and are either located close to the cold water tank or in the pipework adjacent to the outlet from hot water tanks.  If the valves cannot be located, check the pipework where it passes through the ceiling into the room below, sometimes they may be located in a cupboard or, if the pipework is boxed in, behind a cover held in place by screws. Gatevalves are turned off by turning the head

Check valve - a type of protective pipe fittings designed to prevent a change in the direction of flow of the medium in the technological system. I also once had a problem with him and I had to completely change it. I was helped by the water supply team from Mississauga Plumbing Services with the help of french drain and they are doing an excellent job for which I am very grateful to them. The workshop is worthy of reward. I didn’t even think that replacing such an insignificant detail could affect my housing as a whole and all thanks to these employees. There would be more such people!

It allows you to stop the flow of water before a circulator or component that you may need to change in the future. It allows you to isolate or contain leaks. It can be used in many ways but typically to seperate a component from the boiler.
