The best time to plant potatoes is the beginning of spring. Most people who have planted potatoes before can help you with some advice as your own judgements about the weather that is perfect to plant potatoes. However, potatoes need the soil temperature to rise unto 45 degree F to start growing. If you have even been to Ohio, United States of America that is the perfect weather to grow potatoes. You will get the best results if the soil is a little moist; remember that wet or soggy soil will spoil potatoes. If there is a little frost around where you live, you have nothing to worry about; your potatoes will do just fine. Full sun a requirement for the potatoes to grow, as they need to root properly.

You should plant the potatoes at the begging of spring, but don't plant them in winter as the temperature is too cold
