You will end up with a yukky, muddy brown color if you are talking about actually mixing the two colors together, but if you are talking about coloring over grey hair, you should use a warm brown color such as golden brown or auburn brown. If you use an ash brown or any brown with a blue or green tint base in it, you will end up with a greenish cast to your hair.
