My Direct Drive Whirlpool Washer Won't Spin In The Final Spin Cycle All The Time. What Causes This Problem?

Not going into neutral drain.  Open the lid,  it will click and spin

Could be a couple of things. Firstly it could be uneven load distribution, effecting the spin cycle. It could also be little things called 'bushes'. These are small parts in the electrical side of the machine that are made of carbon and these wear out, a bit like sharpening the lead in a pencil it reduces the length every time.
