When buying office furniture, it's a good idea to invest in high-quality pieces that will be long-lasting, providing your budget allows. You can browse office furniture online to see what kind of things you like or you can visit high street stores. When I fitted out my office, I decided to order some bespoke pieces. I sourced some bookcases and cabinets from a bespoke joinery in Cambridge and bought the office chairs online based on some reviews that I read.

If you're looking to furnish your office on a budget, you can always consider buying second-hand pieces. There is a lot of furniture available on gumtree and sometimes you can even find some free furniture. This can be a great way to cut back on the cost of opening your first office. The only drawback with this option is that the pieces might be mismatched but, if they're functional, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
