You can but it does not work as good as you would think. The best thing I have found to clean ink out of a dryer gas or electric, is carb and choke cleaner. Yes I said it! I know it sounds crazy buy lady's it works great and you don't have to scrub your fingers to the bones. Do air it out or turn or a fan for ventilation while cleaning it. It does the trick in just a few seconds. Try it and pass it on. You won't be disappointed!
