Try Biz as I have had success with it (hand soak/wash of course). Also you can try 1 cup Clorox II added to 1 cup of Cascade with hot water. Soak overnight. Rinse.
I wouldn't use oxy clean, only because it can take the dyes from cotton fabric, and you don't want to ruin a 50-year old hand-crocheted spread. I recommend the dry cleaner, believe it or not. The solution is fine for cotton, and the chemicals don't bleach out the dye. I wish you good luck!
