For removing fragrance oil stain from your carpet I have few tips:
·   Whenever, this thing happens you can immediately sprinkle baking soda or cornstarch onto the stain. Let it be there for 10 minutes and after that brush it off.
·   Now as stain is there, so you can clean it with dishwashing liquid on a cloth and rub for three minutes. After this you can soak the stained area in hot water and again apply dishwashing liquid.
·   If the above tip is not working then you can apply baking soda to the stained area again for 3 minute.

As fragrance oil is little sticky, so you can use alcohol which break down the stain-causing oil. Use paper towel to soak the fragrance oil as much as you can. Take warm water and vinegar in 1:1 ratio , spay it on affected area to remove the odor. Then use paper towel on it. In my home when oil or perfume spilled on the carpet I remove carpet stains with liquids - like with vinegar, this is easily available in my kitchen.
