Depends on if it has a pattern to it..if it has a pattern to it and you can find a identical piece to make a patch you can cut the burned area out in such a way as to match the lines or pattern so when you put in the patch no one can tell you repaired the burned area... But first I would try a mixture of baking soda and borax equal parts mixed in a cup and then scrub the area with a damp sponge and a little of the mixture it acts like comet but not as abrasive...
