Put on rubber gloves and mix 1/2 cup chlorine bleach, 1.3 cup laundry washing powder to one gallon of hot water.
Work from the bottom of the wall upwards - use the mixture and a plastic scrubber sponge and rub gently in circular motions until the mildew is removed.
Rinse the sponge out and with clean water use the sponge to rinse the wall clean.
