Tile laying is priced per square meter or per square foot. I.e you measure the area (lenght x breadth-in metres or feets) you tiled and then multiply by a fixed price say $1 per square meter or 20cents per square foot.
For instance, if you layed 50 square foot at a fixed price of 20 cent per square foot, then the cost of your labor would be:
50 sq ft x 20c per sq ft=$100
