I would go to your local Lowe's or Home Depot, and ask someone from the tile department what their recommendations are. They may have a quick and less expensive solution to your problem. I always find the salesmen and women in both stores very helpful and always willing to offer a wealth of information and ideas. Good-Luck.
You need to cut out the old drywall and patch it with new drywall. Then you need to put a back splash of tile or some other product up. Peace
How do I replace drywall behind a cabinet in the kitchen that has water damage?
I removed our old backsplash and some of the drywall paper came off and some of the glue is left on the paper. Can I just clean it up and put new tile on top of the old drywall?
