Its okay to use windex. If the glass has hard water stains or soap scum, I would recommend Scrub Free, Tilex, or any other bath cleaner. Spray it on, let it penetrate for about 3-5 minutes, then wipe/wash with warm water. Its okay to use a scrub pad like one you use to clean teflon with on the glass as it won't scratch it. Do not use soft scrub or any other grit type cleaner or harsh scrub pad. This will scratch. After cleaning the glass, spray with window/glass cleaner and wipe to a streak free shine.
