My brand new water heater runs a lot of water on top.. what do I do?

Sounds like one of the connections is loose, or the hoses may be bad, or its even possible the water heater is defective/cracked so try tightening the connections first.

Fyi, The man above me isn't wrong at all just there are so many diff types of heater set ups it's hard to just give you a straight up answer with out having any knowledge of the set up.

Just a young kid trying to for fill a career in HVACR. there are so many diff set ups it's hard to help people by reading there post. You where deff not wrong just did not have full knowledge of the unit. But thanks !
