Anything from around the house/garage that I could use to fix the leak between 2 connecting garden hoses ? No duct tape answers please.

Teflon tape works great if you have any around but in a pinch, masking tape, scotch tape or some really fine cloth wrapped around the threads will help it seal and not leak too much. Then when you get time, they do make replacement thread connectors and they're easy to do. Depend on what you have around and where it's leaking. Give one of those a try. It'll sure help !
