Ink stains are tricky to get out. Some methods have been suggested in housekeeping manuals but none are guaranteed to work. It depends on the type of ink; permanent ink is pretty tough to remove! Still it is worth a try.

Some sources suggest spraying a bit of hairspray onto the stain and leaving it on for a few minutes. Then rinse with warm water.

If that doesn't work, there are other methods that have been recommended. For removing ballpoint ink stains from clothing, rubbing alcohol is suggested. This method may also work for your door. Gently sponge the stain with rubbing alcohol and rinse clean. For removing other types of ink, it is suggested to first rinse the stain with cool water. Then wash in warm sudsy water mixed with a few drops of household ammonia.

Another option which may work is a spray cleaner which contains bleach. Only use it if your door is white because otherwise it could take out the colour.

All these products are toxic so use care; wear protective gloves and follow safety instructions.

Try lemon juice or rubbing alcohol. [Try a little corner before spraying the whole door] :)
