How Do I Remove An Ink Stain Transferred From A Printed Newspaper Wrapper To Our Brass Kick Plate On A Door?

Try using a mister clean magic eraser..they really do remove ink..they're the best cleaning product in the world..they are magic!

Thanks for the reminder about Mr. Clean "Magic Eraser!" I always keep it on hand. I don't know why I didn't think of it. We have a recycling bin for newpapers and magazines inside a kitchen cabinet and the handle areas were very dark with stains from the newspapers. One swipe around each knob did the trick!

Use Lysol wipes. Removes stains instantly. Trust me. I got some on the top part of my laptop and I swiped it across and BAM! Gone... Use the blue kind.

I use windex or a household cleaner..
Use either a paper towel or newspaper to dry
newspaper leaves the surface lint-free but maybe cause dizziness from the fumes.

Have you tried a brass cleaner like Brasso? If that doesn't work, WD-40 might work-read the label first, though.
