There are many variants of 32-amp commando plugs (which are also known as an IEC 60309-2 connectors). The plug and the socket have to be of the same type. A plug with a current rating of 32A is different from other current ratings, which are determined by the circular housing. The diameter of every circular housing is different from others.

If there are two pins in a plug, the ground pin location for a P+N+E plug, a 3P+E plug and a 3P+N+E plug will be more than fifty volts, between 300 Hertz and 500 Hertz and will have a green housing.

On the other hand, if there are three pins in a plug, the ground pin location for a P+N+E plug would be between fifty and 250 volts alternating current (which is abbreviated as AC).
