I Have Parquet Floors That Are Popping Up And The Color Is Horrendous. I Would Like To Paint The Floors White Or Check Pattern. How Can I Do This? What Kind Of Paint? I Do Not Want To Replace Floors.

Yes, it is possible to paint the parquet floors in your house, but I certainly would not recommend white paint as even minor dirt or stains are likely to show up on it, especially if it is in your kitchen. You can go ahead and use any type of paint, but it is very important to then finish this with a coat of polyurethane. This will help keep the paint from cracking and chipping.
