You could go ultra contemporary with your decoration. I would use the green as the accent color that would pop against a neutral background. Painting the walls a lighter shade of grey would intensify this effect. Hanging black and white photos would keep the pallete clean. Use the same lime green in valances to bring the color up helping the eye to move around the room. Also, use silver or pewter as the metal accent. Gold would fight too much with the grey.
